Unfortunately, in every relationship. There is that one who is giving 100% while the other is giving 50...
There is nothing like "We love each other".
Now ask yourself... in yours, are you the one loving or being loved?

When my expensive phone broke down last week,I rushed to a repairer in my locality and he diagnosed it's ailment being a charging malfunction of which he charged me a thousand Bob and swore the problem was gone for good.
Two days later, the phone went into a coma again and I walked into another repairer's shop who opened it up and exclaimed in disbelief
"Nkt sasa mjinga gani ndio aliunda hii Simu!"
"Ona venye amechoma motherboard..." He said in despair as he shoved the gadget before my face and I peeked attentively although to be honest It just seemed the same to me.
"Na si inakaa tu Nikama iko sawa" I tried to brush him off but he raised his voice in controlled rage as he roared..."sawa wapi!...huoni hii alternator imetobolewa!...hii lazima nijazie soldering wire..."
To cut the long story short,I parted with 800 Bob and he too like the first repairer, promised me it will be ages before I go to any repairer's shop.I believed him.
But Alas two days ago,it broke down again and since I was around Nakuru town,I slid into another fundi's shop who got into business immediately and once he had dismantled my poor Samsung phone's entrails,he screamed in disbelief...
"Na sasa Kasia gani huyu anaconnect IC ya display directly Kwa IC ya GPAG?"
I looked sheepishly at him, nodded my head in despair and mumbled something about not knowing which person to trust of which he firmly recommended himself.
"Wewe ulizia huku Nakuru Kimathi wa masimu ni Nani..Mimi Nikiundia mtu Simu one God harudi tena...."
He took my 2k and happily I left his place, but as I speak gents, the same phone broke down again Jana and I have vowed never to repair it again.Let me count my losses and beat it afterall it seems all phone repairer's have a way with words.
It happens that am just leaving town when a furious rain suddenly drops with a bang.I ducked into a nearby hotel and in the process happened to meet eye to eye with Deno,my caretaker.
He smiled from ear to ear as he greeted me proud to have spotted me in such a busy town.He loves me because I always tip him whenever he opens the gate or guards my door.
"Pasu!" He fired his surprise as he reached his arm forward for a handshake. This guy was my die hard and I knew it.
We talked briefly before he offered to give me a ride home.I was speechless.Deno and lift was not in any vocabulary.
So I looked at him in his eye as he lifted his head high and let me briefly into his gaze,to bathe in the glory of his stare.
I don't know how i followed him to the parking lot where he climbed the passenger seat of a truck and squeezed himself to create space for me,my mouth gaped.
"EXHAUSTER" was written neatly on its mammoth brown belly.
It would dawn on me later that Deno had apparently hiked the lift of the honey sucker as it offered its service within the neighbourhood for a joy ride.
The driver peeked at me and after a quick glance arrowed his doubt to to Deno,
"Huyu Sioni akipanda."
So I smiled and took a step.......
In 2014, the city of Isfahan in Iran experienced a series of brutal and horrifying acid attacks targeting multiple women. These attacks, classified as a form of physical violence, involve perpetrators throwing acid at their victims, deliberately aiming for their faces to cause disfigurement. The prevalence of acid attacks has been on the rise in the Middle East and India in recent years, often involving male assailants targeting former partners.
Isfahan witnessed a total of eight acid attacks in 2014, with speculation pointing to two masked males on a motorbike as the likely culprits. Despite extensive investigations, the identity of these individuals remains unknown, evading justice for their heinous crimes.
Debates surround the motivations behind these attacks. Some Iranians speculate that they were a response to the progress of women in Iran, particularly those driving cars or not conforming to traditional Islamic dress. Other theories suggest the involvement of radical Islamic extremists or hardline misogynists.
Among the victims is Marziyeh Ebrahim, who suffered severe injuries in one of the acid attacks. Remarkably, Ebrahim refused to let her scars define her; instead, she emerged as a resilient figure. Today, she is an influential political activist advocating tirelessly for women's rights and raising awareness about acid attacks. Ebrahim is widely recognized as one of Iran's strongest activists, and her efforts played a significant role in the passage of a law in 2019 that criminalized acid attacks.
