That company then sold Drum to Imperial Tobacco, the current British producer. Douwe Egberts discontinued Drum in the USA Republic Tobacco of Glenview, Illinois, (manufacturer ofTop Cigarette Tobacco) began making its own version of Drum for distribution in the United States.
